By purchasing Data Toggle, you agree to receive occasional emails from us regarding bug fixes or major release updates. We rarely send emails, and typically no more than 4 times a year. Our emails to you will never contain offers or marketing info and of course we do not and can not share your email address with anyone.
If you receive an email from us, you can opt out of them at any time: Simply reply to the email with the phrase "NO EMAILS".
We do not have access to sensitive information and do not collect or share ANY info about you or your device for purposes other than fixing problems with this app and in order to make it better. This bug info is safe with Google & is stored for every app you purchase. We do not have access to sensitive info, and the info we collect is just diagnostic information. FULL NETWORK ACCESS: This is ONLY to collect bugs and crashes, auto upload them to Google's servers, and to ensure you have a license. A tiny amount of debug info is sent if a bug is detected. This software is 100% Ad-free.
PREVENT TABLET FROM SLEEPING PREVENT PHONE FROM SLEEPING: This is used for background updates. When your screen is off, in order to automatically download data while using the periodic background forced updates feature, the phone must be kept awake (but the screen will still be off). This only lasts for about 2 minutes by default so your device can download emails/etc. Then it can go back to sleep and continue saving battery.
CHANGE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY: Without this Data Toggle cannot toggle mobile data or WiFi.
CONNECT AND DISCONNECT FROM WI-FI: This allows Data Toggle to turn WiFi on or off when your screen is off/on.
MODIFY SYSTEM SETTINGS: Some phones require this to toggle mobile data.
VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS: This is required by many of the automatic switching functions to determine whether you have a WiFi or mobile connection.

RUN AT STARTUP: This app runs automatically when your phone starts. It runs as a very low memory and processor overhead app (of course, depending on your settings it can also use more battery). We provide several smart modes that allow you to conserve battery if you use your phone lightly and don't have a ton of apps running all the time. We do not recommend the use of app or task killers (especially with this app). Instead, you should uninstall, close, or configure apps to not run all the time if you are no longer using them. This app does not "kill" other apps, and we don't believe in using those types of apps.
MODIFY BATTERY STATISTICS: Some phones require this to accurately read the battery information, Data Toggle does not (and can not) make any modifications to your battery stats without additional permissions which are not requested.
